Yesterday, Walnut Cove Volunteer Fire & Rescue, in conjunction with the Salvation Army and Dollar General, WCFR Ladies Auxiliary, Salem Chapel Fire Dept and Ladies Auxiliary, Girl Scout Troop 41090, Ingles and many, many more, had another successful TOYS FOR CHILDREN event!  Hundreds of residents in the surrounding communities were able to come pick up gifts for their children, have a warm meal and fellowship with Santa Claus and other families.  Thanks to everyone whom participated and helped make this a Christmas to remember for so many children and their families!
